This year’s Kooperativa Assembly was held from 28-30 June in Kosovo, at the Lumbardhi cinema in Prizren and was hosted by Kooperativa member Lumbardhi Foundation. At the Assembly members had a chance to discuss conducted and upcoming Kooperativa activities as well as current socio-political circumstances that affect cultural policies in the region. Important part of Prizren assembly was the strategic planning facilitated by Andrijana Parić.

Within the assembly there were two public events held. On 28th of June, at the Prizren Bus station, the venue of Autostrada Biennal, representatives of Kooperativa members and Kosovo cultural organizations exchanged experiences of organizing and managing regional projects.

On 29th of June public panel „Innovative practices and traditional funding“ took place at Turkish Bath in Prizren. Participants were Taulant Hoxha (Kosovo Civil Society Foundation), Milan Bogdanovic (Heinrich Boll Stiftung), Antonija Letinic (Kultura Nova Foundation), Marta Klepo (MitOst) and Milica Pekic (Kooperativa). The panel was moderated by Ares Shporta (Kooperativa/ Foundation Lumbardhi). In this panel, speakers presented the practice of funding applied by their institutions and organisations, while engaging in a discussion over new priorities and tendencies that can be advocated for funding regional collaboration and independent actors.

This assembly was also an opportunity to welcome two new members – SCCA Ljubljana and Kontejner from Zagreb, who participated in Kooperativa exchange and cooperation program implemented trough 2016 and 2017. The platform now has 36 member organisations.
