Kooperativa’s office was joined by the representatives from the platform’s Management Board to visit Serbia from February 9 to 12, for a series of meetings with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia and the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Foundation, as well as with the Management Board of the Association “Independent Culture Scene of Serbia” (NKSS) and its office.

The representatives of Kooperativa – Tihana Pupovac (coordinator), Luka Knežević-Strika (vice-president of Kooperativa’s Management Board) and Vida Knežević (president of NKSS Serbia Management Board) met with Stanko Blagojević (Deputy Minister in charge of International Relations and European Integration, Ministry of Culture and Information), Jagoda Stamenković (Senior Adviser at the same department, Ministry of Culture and Information) and Vuk Radulović (Advisor for International Cooperation in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister) to present the work and the strategic goals of the platform with the aim of building a stable framework for cultural cooperation and support in the region. The meeting passed in a positive and cooperative atmosphere, with both sides deciding to continue the dialogue.

During our visit to Belgrade, Kooperativa also met with the Management Board of the Association “Independent Culture Scene of Serbia” (NKSS) and its office to exchange information about the implementation of the platform’s activities, the ongoing EU project and to draw up a plan for future collaborations.
