REG LAB TWINNING RAZMJENA MENTORSTVO LJETNA ŠKOLA

From 21st till 23rd of September, Kooperativa representatives visited Montenegro in order to exchange knowledge and experience with Montenegrin independent culture organizations. The visit was organized in cooperation with our member, and one of the founders of Kooperativa – Expeditio, and was composed of several workshops that were held in Kotor, Herceg Novi and Cetinje. In this way, Kooperativa representatives had a chance to meet with numerous organizations that act in the field of independent culture and art, and to share with them their experiences in working and acting as a part of the independent cultural scene, both on the national levels and on the regional one.

The discussions and workshops enabled Kooperativa representatives to gain insight into the state of things of the Montenegrin independent cultural scene, and to agree on further cooperation with and empowerment of Montenegrin organizations.

Kooperativa representatives also had a chance to meet with the Montenegrin Ministry of Culture where they represented Kooperativa’s work, advocacy goals and activities. Beside this, they discussed as well on some of the urgent issues that need addressing in terms of a sustainable support to Montenegrin cultural CSOs.

All workshops and discussions had a constructive and enriching content, and it was agreed that Kooperativa, as a regional platform for culture, will be at the disposal of Montenegrin independent cultural scene in order to help and empower it.
